Paper Options

Inner Sheet Paper Stock
40#/70gsm Uncoated
For larger projects with 10-12 columns. Uncoated text paper offers a natural, tactile feel with a matte finish. While it does not exhibit the same color pop as coated paper, it provides a warmer and more inviting touch. Uncoated paper is more forgiving when folded, with minimal risk of cracking along the folds.
50#/80gsm Uncoated

60#/90gsm Silk
This option features a smooth, slightly glossy finish that enhances image sharpness and color vibrancy. Due to its coated nature, folding this type of paper may result in some cracking along the fold lines. This characteristic is a natural outcome of the coating process.
Cover Finish
Matte
Soft to the touch with a premium feel, our matte finish is excellent for more subtle colors and designs without photography. This is not your standard matte finish and by my no means feels plain or cheap.
Gloss
Our UV coated gloss finish enhances image sharpness and color vibrancy. Ideal for cover designs that feature photography or bright colors that should pop.
Artwork
We require press-ready PDFs with 3mm bleed, crop marks, and production label in print and viewable area. When your files are ready, upload them at pocketmaps.com/upload-files.
Proofs
All orders come standard with soft digital PDF proofs. Client approval of digital proof initiates a prepress process, and subsequent client-directed changes incur a cost(s) that will be passed on to the client with a minimum of $375.
Hard copy (wet) Epson proofs are available upon request for an additional charge and take an additional 5 business days.
Turnaround
Production turnaround time begins after your proof is approved, payment is received, and varies from 1-3 weeks depending on your order. Turnaround time is not guaranteed unless otherwise noted for your order.
